About Us
Our Mission
Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco is a network of parents working together to build and ensure quality public education for all children in San Francisco.
We do this by providing parents with information, news, networking, and parent-to-parent connections and by developing parent leaders at the school and district level.
About PPS-SF
Started in San Francisco in 1999 by two parents, PPS-SF is an independent chapter of a national organization. PPS-SF serves, either directly or indirectly, all 55,000 SFUSD children and their families. PPS-SF has become a respected and prominent supporter of San Francisco public schools and an advocate for the parent voice in school reform.
A growing parent network
Every year, more and more parents join the growing PPS-SF network of concerned parents and community leaders. When you Join us or Donate your time, expertise or money, you help support over 55,000 SFUSD children and their families. Hundreds join every year – we’d love you to be one!
