#BoardWatch Recap: SFUSD Board Meeting December 11, 2018
The Board of Education had a full agenda at their last regular meeting of the year.
The board voted to move forward with looking into changes to the student assignment system, adopted new policies and renamed an auditorium, a library, and a conference room. The board also heard feedback and updates from the Indian Education Parent Advisory Council and staff working to implement the African American Achievement and Leadership Initiative a briefings on plans to bolster the district’s school meals program and an explanation of how property taxes work to fund education in San Francisco.
