Meet the Staff: Kate Moore
Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco is a small but mighty team. We are parents, community leaders, and public school advocates. Our staff represents a wide array of ages, languages, and countries of origin. One thing we share in common: our passion for public education as a foundation of a liveable city for everyone.
This week, meet Kate Moore our Office Manager!
About Kate:
Born in the UK, I have worked most of my career in non-profits, in fundraising, communications and recruitment. I love the special combination of passion and dedication that you find in mission driven organizations. Moving to the US has been a fantastic adventure for me and my family, I love big city life and we have benefitted so much from our move to this beautiful place.
Why you choose to do this work:
Supporting a team to do this important work is a real pleasure. As a parent of two kids in SFUSD schools I feel strongly about the connection between healthy communities and public schools. It makes me happy to do what I can to make things run smoothly here!
Fun fact:
I am a member of 40 strong women's barbershop chorus. We are a diverse group of ages and backgrounds and have lots of fun rehearsing and performing together.
