Meet the Staff: Program Director Gregory Bailey

Say hello to Greg! Greg brings a wealth of professional experience leading restorative practices and increasing diverse family engagement at school sites.

Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco is a small but mighty team. We are parents, community leaders, and public school advocates. Our staff represents a wide array of ages, languages, and countries of origin. One thing we share in common: our passion for public education as a foundation of a liveable city for everyone.

This week, meet Gregory Bailey our Program Director.

Can you tell us a little bit about your background and experience?

I have 20 plus years of experience in non-profits, social services and public schools supporting families and children in Northern California to reach their fullest potential.

Why do you choose to do this work?

My family fully supported me in every way. I just want to "pay it forward" and give the same opportunities that were afforded me back to others.

What is a fun fact about you? (outside of work):

I am an avid fitness buff and a published author.
