PPS-SF Guide to the 2021 Enrollment Fair
Congratulations - you are getting ready to find out about all the great schools in SFUSD!
The Virtual Enrollment Fair this year is spread over 7 days from October 22 through October 29. Don’t worry - you don’t have to attend every day and we are here to help you navigate!
What to expect from the virtual enrollment fair:
Workshops on Enrollment (with PPS-SF), Language Programs, Special Education, Career Pathways
School Videos - Each school tours it’s site, shares info on programs & highlights from its community
Town Hall style School Information Sessions for every school and a Q & A with the Principal & Staff
SFUSD has online resources to help parents, families and their children navigate the Fair together.
Virtual Enrollment Fair Overview and some snippets of the schedule:
Friday 10/22 is focused on Early Education (pre-K programs) delivered at SFUSD sites
Saturday 10/23 is for SFUSD workshops held on Zoom and recorded on the SFUSD YouTube channel - All workshops will have simultaneous interpretation in the district's main languages using a Google Meet phone number.

Before you begin, take a look at our Enrollment Tips - a checklist of items to be thinking about before you choose the schools you want to explore more.
Try to keep an open mind to look at all the schools that fit your family’s needs. Use the SFUSD School Search tool to check out grade level, language programs, location and Attendance Area schools.

When it is released on October 22 the Enrollment Guide 2022/23 has helpful charts comparing schools in SFUSD. Each chart shows school location, start & finish times, as well as the services such as Before & After school programs, Language programs & Special Ed programs. We think these charts are a great help for families!
School Information Sessions
Now you have narrowed down your list, find out when your preferred schools are hosting School Information Sessions and put them in your planner!
What if you miss a School Information Session, a Workshop or if you want to see a school video again?
School videos are available to watch anytime - visit the School Information Sessions schedule to view them. All workshops are presented live on Zoom & YouTube, with recordings posted later. All schools will be recording one of their School Information Sessions and these will be available on YouTube. Visit the SFUSD YouTube channel for more information.

If you need help during the Fair, are experiencing technical difficulties, want to talk to an enrollment counselor, or have other questions about the Enrollment Fair, please call the Educational Placement Center. They have staff on the phone who speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Spanish who can assist you. The phone number is 415-241-6085. They are open from from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
