With holiday break just around the corner, parents are looking for ways to entertain their kids when they'd normally be in school. Luckily for us, San Francisco has a ton of events and the team here at PPS-SF has hand selected the best ones for you to attend! Here is a list of free concerts, events and activities:
Golden Gate Bandshell Concert | December 18, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Live music has returned to the Golden Gate Bandshell’s stage with a series of free, all-age outdoor concerts in Golden Gate Park.
The lineup of performers returning to the stage is diverse and local—rock and reggae bands, jazz players and R&B singers, West African and South Asian drummers and dancers, as well as homegrown stars like DJ Shortkut and Lavay Smith and her Red Hot Skillet Lickers.
The events will strictly follow all current guidelines and recommendations from the Department of Public Health and will adapt accordingly as guidelines change. Mask wearing is required for those who are not vaccinated and strongly encouraged for everyone.
