Internships, and Summer Learning for Teens in San Francisco

City Internship Programs
There are several paid internship programs offered through the City of San Francisco.
San Francisco YouthWorks (SFYW) is a youth internship program for 11th and 12th-grade students that provides paid work experience in San Francisco City Government Departments. Applications are due by Friday, April 23. Learn more and apply here.
Opportunities for All (OFA) is open to students aged 13-24 and is planning to offer over 3,500 paid internships in a variety of interest areas this summer. Applications are due by Friday, June 4, 2021. Learn more and apply here.

Summer Credit Recovery
There will be online credit recovery options through SFUSD this summer. Talk to your student’s high school counselor for information on how to register.
The Transitional Studies Department of CCSF offers credit recovery options for high-school students free of charge. Courses are available in the subject areas of math, English, science, and history, as well as courses for English Language Learners. For a complete list of classes go to: www.ccsf.edu/creditrecovery.
Summer Classes at City College
Learn more about opportunities for high school students to enroll in summer courses at CCSF by visiting the Dual Enrollment page on the CCSF website. Online enrollment for summer starts on April 26th and summer classes begin June 7, 2021.
