As parents are deciding which schools to request for their children, they find it very helpful to gain the perspective of parents already in the school and to hear about their personal experiences.
The 2021-2022 enrollment season has been especially difficult for families who couldn't visit school sites in-person. Our PPS Parent Ambassadors have been there to offer a bridge between school websites and real families that have real experience at the school. If you've benefited from talking with an Ambassador, please consider signing up to represent your school.
It's not a big commitment. Depending on the number of requests and the number of ambassadors in a school, we may connect an ambassador with up to 3 or 4 parents during a school year.
A PPS-SF Parent Ambassador is a public school parent who has volunteered to speak to other parents about their child’s school. Many parents find it helpful to get another parent’s perspective about a school, and to learn more about a school than what can be found on the school’s website or seen on a school tour.
