PPS-SF Safer-At-Home Crafting Ideas
A combination of the Safer-At-Home order and winter break means a lot of upcoming down-time for you and your family. There are lots of things you could do with your time; start that sourdough starter, make a TikTok, watch your plants grow. Or, you could use this list of crafting ideas and spend some family time crafting.
We made this list so hopefully you only have to buy a thing or two from the store and many of these things can be bought using EBT. You can also check out your local Buy Nothing facebook group.

Marbled Paper or Card stock
The age group: Anyone who is old enough to not eat the shaving foam.
PPS-SF Tip: You can easily use liquid food coloring, plus liquid food coloring usually already has a top so you can easily dispense it, then you do not need the dropper either.
What to do with your Marbled Paper or Card stock: Write a note to your socially distanced pen pal or neighbor or write a note of appreciation to your favorite public school staff member, so many possibilities!
Potato Stamps

The age group: Any age group can use the stamps but only let older kids use a knife for carving out the potato.
PPS-SF Tip: This one is so direct, we’ve got nothing to add.
What to do with your potato stamps: If you have a celebration coming up with presents, use these to decorate your brown paper grocery bags to make your own custom wrapping paper.
