Staff Spotlight: Carol Xie, Chinese Outreach Coordinator

We are super excited to introduce Carol Xie, the newest member of PPS-SF and the Chinese Outreach Coordinator!

Name & Title: Carol Xie, Chinese Outreach Coordinator

Short bio of Carol’s background/experience: Carol immigrated to the U.S. in 2006 and started as a non-credit city college student at the City College of San Francisco, where she developed a passion for education. Carol received her Master’s degree from San Francisco State University with a focus on Applied Linguistics and Curriculum Design in 2014. Prior to joining PPS, Carol worked in both public and private education institutions for many years in San Francisco.

Why you choose to do this work: Joining PPS, Carol's goal is to engage and empower the Chinese community, and support families and students for their success in schools.

Fun fact about me: Carol loves playing piano and travelling.
