Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco is at an exciting next chapter deepening its strong focus on promoting the fundamental values of public education. We are expanding our Board to deepen the representation of the cultural ancestry of the people we serve as well as to strengthen our resource development skill set. We believe that it is essential to have both. As you may know, in 21-22, we onboarded our Executive Director, Dr. Vanessa Marrero. With shifts across city, district, and national partners, we believe our growth will be dependent on the strength of the board providing its fiduciary duties, organizational development, policies, fund development, and ambassadorship.
