#Public School Love Town hall

Flyer with text reading “Public School Love Downhill”.

As you can see at our last #boardwatch, our children's hearts are breaking with these cuts. We are worried about San Francisco Schools!

On March 25th, 2025 at 5:30 pm we will be hosting a Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco Town hall: No School Closures, No Staffing Cuts to Schools. Our communities have faced incredible turmoil this year with threats to close our diverse community schools and now deep cuts. We must make sure our team of experts answers all our questions.

This town hall will provide parents, caregivers, and community members with an opportunity to engage in a two-way conversation about our public schools and the needs of our children. We have a right to public education and to tell the school board why the proposed funding for schools during 2025 - 2026 won’t work for our children.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to public schools. We believe that other practices are needed to look for other remedies to resolve the deficit budget that SFUSD has such as institutional district staffing cut impact assessment. We see opportunities for the district to do both, get its budget in order and keep the staffing at our school sites. Join a vital town hall to discuss school closures & budget cuts. Let's work together to find solutions and ensure our children thrive.

The event will be held in-person in the Women’s Building, however, if you can’t make it, be sure to register to attend virtually using the links below:
