It is with great honor that we share with a nomination for the Advocates Worthy of Excellence (AWE) Award, presented by the SFUSD Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for Special Education for our Executive Director, Dr. Vanessa D. Marrero. This nomination recognizes her outstanding dedication and support for students with exceptional needs in the San Francisco Unified School District.

As part of this recognition, we invite you to join her at the AWE Awards Ceremony during the CAC meeting on Thursday, March 27th, from 6:00–8:00 PM. The CAC Board will conduct an anonymous vote to select five nominees who will receive AWE Award plaques. However, all nominees will be recognized at the ceremony and will receive an AWE Award certificate in appreciation of their contributions.
